A320 Command Upgrade & Line Training

Open Horizon Aviation offers a unique opportunity for experienced pilots to step into the A320 captain’s seat with our command upgrade and left-seat line training program.


What you need to join:


  • EASA ATPL(A) issued license
  • EASA Class 1 medical
  • Valid A320 type rating
  • Flight experience:
  • Minimum 2500 total hrs which 1500 hrs on A320or
  • Minimum *3500 total hrs, of which 1000 hrs on CS-25 (or equivalent) aircraft
  • ICAO English Level 4 or higher
  • Clean criminal record
  • Passport with unrestricted travel eligibility

150 hour collecting on A320 as First Officer

OPEN HORIZON AVIATION has partnered with a European airline to offer line training opportunities to type rated and non-type rated pilots on A320 type aircraft. 


Next OCC starts in autumn.


Line training with 150 block hours is available.


Applications are currently being accepted for this opportunity and screenings are already under way. The number of vacancies is limited.

  • Older than 18 years
  • Valid multi-engine Instrument Rating (A)
  • EASA issued ATPL(A), or EASA issued CPL(A) and theoretical knowledge equal to requirements for the issue of ATPL(A)
  • Advanced UPRT certificate
  • ICAO level 4 knowledge of English language
  • 70 hours as pilot-in-command of aeroplanes
  • EASA Class 1 medical certificate
  • Hold a certificate of satisfactory completion of MCC course if applying for the issue of the first type rating for the multi-pilot aeroplane type
  • Non-criminal record
  • Ability to swim
  • Passport enabling travel without restrictions

A320 Captain position - Mediterranean

We are looking, on behalf of one of our client (reliable European charter and ACMI operator), for EASA A320 rated captains. Very competitive conditions on offer.


Pre-requisites:

  • EASA ATPL licence with valid A320 type rating.
  • Captain experience on A320 type.
  • EASA Class 1 Medical Certificate.
  • Non-criminal record.
  • The right to live and work in EU


Conditions:

  • Attractive fixed basic monthly fee (irrespective of the hours flown).
  • Additional per-diems when in base.
  • Rotation: 3 weeks on / 1 week off (Minimum 7 consecutive days off at home - travel included in “on” days)
  • Accommodation and transportation provided. (4* airline standard hotel with free wifi, breakfast, afternoon snacks and laundry.)
  • Transportation from base to home and transportation in base is provided
  • Operating bases in Mediterranean region.
